Ummeed in association with Amity University organised online sessions on 11th May, 2020 for the Mass Communication Post graduate students of Amity Kolkata on Positive psychology and Smart Self by Ms.Salony Priya Founder Director Of Ummeed.

They also had a session on Reality check with an industry expert. Where reputed journalist, Mr. Biswanath Dasgupta shared his valuable insight on mass communication industry.The students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and were encouraged to look at life with a new and positive outlook.

On 1st and 2nd October 2019, 35 educators at Nirmal Jyoti Senior Secondary School, Bina (MP) joining Ummeed campaign of training into counselling skills for adolescent behaviour management.

Ummeed committed to spreading awareness that suicide can be prevented on 9th September 2019, We sensitized 100 plus educators of Bhawanipur Education Society College, Kolkata on good mental health indicators and how teachers as mentors can identify red flags and get help for youth.

Mentoring skills were enhanced as empathy, active listening and identifying feelings.

Ummeed sensitizing and empowering educators and caregivers at Father Leblond residential school in siliguri (W.B ) on being pastoral guides to students in their care.

• From today's session I have learned to identify individual behaviour, to open the windows and accept the changes in society. I also learnt the counselling training and the idea of mental wellness. After this session I would try to treat children in a way that he could fight with his fear, I will try to understand the disability and to help the child to overcome, will help each one of them to identify his own capabilities. • During these 2 days counselling training programme, I have experienced how to be calm, understand our self so that we can understand others in a better way.
