Birla Education Trust and Ummeed creates another progressive intervention for integrated education Basic Counselling skills to deal with adolescent issues.
Felicitation and certification of 40 teachers from Birla public school, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth, Birla School Pilani & Birla shishu Vihar on 20th April after 100 hours training by Ummeed was conducted amongst joy and deep sense of responsibility.
A well-earned certificate with loads of reflection and insight.
These teachers act as pastoral guides, reaching out to provide Emotional support and build good mental health in each student as CBSE guidelines.
They are enabled and strengthen the Life skill integration in school activities and are empowered to take regular Skill building and value education classes on contemporary topics.
Dr Kasturi, Principal, Birla Balika Vidyapeeth appreciated Ummeed's efforts for such meticulously designed effective and very practical training full of real case studies and appealed to all to implement this as we need to change ... with Ummeed!

Mrs. Salony Priya empowered the senior school educators of Calcutta Boys Schools on 6th April. The sessions focused on understanding today’s psychosocial issues, social transition and guiding teachers with a positive approach to dealing with the same. The key factor in dealing with adolescents is to provide them with emotional support to develop good mental health. Learning the common adolescent behaviors and the emotional needs associated with them. Teachers from the main branch of Calcutta Boys School along with Beliaghata, Sonarpur and Asansol participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm.

5th April 2024 Mrs. Salony Priya empowered the junior school educators of Calcutta Boys Schools. Teachers from the main branch of Calcutta Boys School along with Beliaghata, Sonarpur and Asansol participated in the workshop with great enthusiasm.
Session focused on rejuvenating teachers to take up challenges by understanding the educational policy, rubrics of skill based learning methods, learning the progressive teaching strategies to balance IQ with EQ.

On 4th April 2024 Ummeed sensitized the class 10 students of Frank Anthony Public School, Kolkata.
Resource Person Mrs. Salony Priya made students aware of Anger a strong emotion that can be regulated and need not be suppressed.
During the session we discussed the strategies to create our happiness list to channelize aggressive behaviour.

On 28th March Ummeed sensitised the new school going parents in The Frank Anthony Public School on the play way method of learning.
Salony Priya, Director, Ummeed also focused on Fit Family Forward that spoke about outdoor chores with children to develop fine motor skills.

On 6th and 12th March Ummeed empowered the educators of St Lawrence School,Kolkata on proactive techniques for self management and class management. Art of giving instructions to create a happy classroom.
Two days of intensive deliberation and evolving strategies with senior and primary section educators.

Avenir at Indian School, Darsait, Oman a three day event from 7th December 2023 to create possibilities for 12,000 plus students in Oman across 21 schools of Oman.
