On 23rd July at Don Bosco Academy, Patna 35 educators embarked on a journey to be guidance Counsellor. They learn to provide the emotional and social first aid to the students under their care from Mrs. Salony Priya, Director, Ummeed.

Understanding the concept of strength based Counselling, positive psychology, qualities of effective Counsellor, attending skills were the key focus of the sessions.

On 15th July, 2023, Ummeed enabled Gyan Bharati Balika Vidyalaya students of classes XI and XII to know themselves better in aspect to their strengths and weaknesses. To empower students towards setting SMART goals.

On 15th July Ummeed team sensitized the students of classes 9 & 10 at Gyan Bharati Vidyapeeth, on goal setting and self management skills.
Today's counselling program was conducted by Payal Chatterjee. She was very motivating. The words she spoke were really good. Each of us feels that the things she told to us are very important and thank you to ummeed for organising the counselling program in our school. - Aastha Mehta, 9-A.

The team of Ummeed, headed by Ms. Salony Priya conducted a two-day training in KC Public School, Jammu on the 10th and 11th of July, 2023. Session focused on the capacity building of the professionals, enhancing their emotional competency and insights into everyday life situations. Ummeed also aided their learning in the basic skills of counselling such as paraphrasing and reflection of feeling, and helped them to understand the aims of counselling.

On 8th July, 2023, empowering students of classes XI and XII at Gyan Bharati Balika Vidyalaya on the understanding of study skills and identifying common distractions and the techniques to improve concentration.

On 7th July Mrs. Salony Priya conducted a session with the faculty of Frank Anthony Public School, Kolkata. They revisited aspects of mental health being integrated in curriculum to ensure that students in their care develop resilience and life skills. Relaxation techniques and mind body well being aspects made teachers learn self management and regulation skills.

On 4th July Ummeed builds hopes and aspirations through its career guidance workshop for 160 students at Birla Bharati School, Kolkata. A very interactive, thought provoking session enabling students to Get ready for life beyond school.

On 1st & 2nd July Holy Cross Foundation for its 28 Schools in North East Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Meghalaya and Manipur invited Ummeed founder Salony Priya to address heads of schools to innovate and inspire a two day leadership training at Agartala.

On 29th June at The Sagar School, Alwar, Rajasthan, 30 educators embarked on a journey to be pastoral guides, learning counselling and behavioral modification techniques from Mrs. Salony Priya, Director, Ummeed.

On 11th June, 2023 an interactive session done by Mrs. Salony Priya with the teachers of Contai Public School on Self Management Skills. A session focused on how to take care of good mental health, how to manage their own stress and anxiety in a proactive way.
